First Profession
08 September 2022: Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
On 08 September 2022, the nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary, was a big day in the history
of our St Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation, in East Africa, witnessing the first
profession of our seven novices under the hands of our Superior General, Fr Mathew
Vattamattam CMF. The event begun at 4:00pm at Dimesse Centre, Karen, Nairobi, where the
31 Major superiors of our congregation all over the world, gathered together, sharing the
dream of the congregation. Among the concelebrants were Fr Joy Mamplikunnel CMF,
Major Superior of St.Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation, Fr Carlos Candeias CMF,
Provincial Superior of Fatima Province. The seven novices who made their profession were
Elia Maloko Romanus, Lucas Vedastus, Frank Kyemba, Leonard Musinguzi, Juma Ouma
Arubanus who belong to St. Charles Lwanga Delegation and Joseph Chingarande and Xavier
Moyo Tinaye who belong to Fatima province.
They were welcomed as newly professed members of the congregation. The Superior General encouraged the newly professed members to continue in the formative journey as missionaries which they have started in serving God. The event ended with sharing of the meals as one family in Christ Jesus at
Dimesse center, Nairobi,Kenya.
