PASTORAL

The apostolic activity of Claretians in East Africa takes place basically in the three countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The work of the Claretian missionaries in East Africa is intense and self-sacrificing, carried out generously by everyone. In the recent past, through the Grace of God, we have witnessed our commitment to pastoral ministry with great satisfaction.

Our limitations not withstanding, the great willingness to reach out to the peripheries and the genuine efforts invested daily in the accompaniment of the people of God including through education, health and other forms of pastoral care is a collective demonstration of our zeal to imprint our core charismatic traits in the different areas of ministries.

We see the need to answer the missionary demands from other regions bordering East Africa. To fulfill our mission within the church and its special calling to the ministry of the Word, through processes of transformation that respond to the challenges from God in our times from our charismatic traits in mission, we made the following missionary options that are carried out on its respective pastoral positions (parishes) in East Africa. EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY, HEALTH MINISTRY, PUBLICATION MINISTRY, JUSTICE AND PEACE MINISTRY, FAMILY AND LAY APOSTOLATE, LAY CLARETIAN AND  YOUTH MINISTRY. We are challenged to answer the missionary demands from other regions bordering East Africa.
