NEW PRIEST ADDED TO THE VINEYARD
On the 12 th of August 2023, St. Charles Lwanga witnessed the ordination to the Priesthood of one of
her members. Fr. Derrick Kawuki Samuel comes from Kampala Archdiocese and was ordained in his
home diocese by the Local Ordinary, Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemogere. A number of Claretians attended the
ordination and his thanksgiving mass which was held the following day on 13 th August 2023 in his
home parish.
