A WORD OF THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO FR. BERNARD JOHN CMF
Fr. Bernard John cmf is bidding farewell to the delegation after 24 years of dedicated service to the Claretian missions in East Africa. Though he would like to continue his missionary service here, he is advised to return to his mother province Chennai due to his health condition. The delegation is extremely grateful to him for his incredible missionary commitment and passion for developing the educational projects of the delegation.
Fr. Bernard John, CMF came to Musoma, Tanzania in 2000. During his 24 years of stay here in East Africa he faithfully discharged his responsibilities in the following capacities namely;
Formator for Aspirants, Vocation promoter for Tanzania, Superior of Makoko community, Director of Makoko center, Founder of Bakita Nursery and Primary school, Superior of Dar es Salam community, Founding manager of Michungwani school, Superior at Namugongo, Superior – Farm and construction of school in charge at Butalangu.
He was also the Formation Co-ordinator of East Africa for a term.
As Fr. Bernard John returns to Chennai, his mother province, we sincerely thank him for his valuable services to our Delegation. We shall be going to miss you Fr. John. Our prayers and blessings are with you. We wish him all the best for his future assignments in the province, especially we will keep him in our prayers for improving his health.
Let Fr. Bernard John’s great missionary commitment inspire many of our young missionaries.
